The words you most regret leaving unsaid
martin: The words you most regret leaving unsaid March 11, 2010, 3:45 pm
I read the article by Jeanette Winterson that you have on your website and found it very moving. It really made me think (and cry), and I know there are some things I really wish I had said before my mother died. I wondered if your members saw it and agree? and what they wish they could have said perhaps. It helps to share these thoughts and makes you feel better to write it down.

I 'm not sure I agree. I say sorry all the time I think I regret not always telling the truth and hiding behind my fear of the reaction

It's always 'sorry' isn't it. Why don't we say it when we should?

It's like always remembering to give a kiss to your partner and children when you or they go out. Or finding a moment to tell them you love them. It's so easily forgotten or just not thought about in the daily humdrum of life

It's hard when you're left with things unsaid. You can't change the past but you can make sure you say what you need to the people who are living so no more regrets
