| My daughter has decided that she wants a gap year. She’s been in touch with her university and they say it’s fine by them. I’m worried sick about a young girl traveling the world on her own. Should I stop her going? |

| Definitely not! There are lots of schemes she can join where she'll be with others and she'll have a task to do e.g teach English in a school. This way you'll know she's safe and she'll still have a great time. Lots of the young people travel after so she can still travel but this way she'll have made some friends to go with | ||
