EXPERIENCE MATTERS

OCTOBER 2008 NEWSLETTER

Website Home

Dear All

I hope you are well. October seems to have flown by. I have spent a lot of it with my head down trying to finish my new book 'Who`s that sleeping in by bed? Sex dilemmas for the 50 plus' It will be published in Spring 2009.

We have continued to be busy here, we are increasingly being contacted by the media for our opinions on the issues facing the 50 plus. The more feedback and information we get from you the better, we want to be sure we are passing on an accurate impression of how it is to be 50 plus in 2008 and not just our own!

I don't know how many of you have seen our new free advice section. We have a very useful article written by a retired accountant on how to use our experience to our advantage at times of financial crisis. Firstly we've been here before and more importantly we know how to manage these events. At over 50 we are an asset to any organisation, bringing experience and expertise. Do go the website to download this and our other free advice fact sheets.

I am sure many of you have solutions of our own, so please add this to either the website 'forum' or 'rants and raves', we learn from each other.

Our workshops for this year are full; don't forget to book in for 2009. At our 'Health and Wellbeing' workshops on February 22nd and April 25th, you will have the opportunity to try acupuncture and hear what it can do for you, have a yoga session, and ask your food and dietary questions to an expert. Remember that as a website member you get a 20 percent discount off the normal price of a workshop. It would be good to see you there!

Have a good November. Keep in touch.

Best wishes
Keren
