JUNE news! new workshops dates are on our website now! | |
I hope you’re all doing ok. I’ve had a very busy few weeks and have been involved in a variety of exciting ventures. I appeared on the Vanessa Feltz’s TV show on 20th May. The topic we were discussing was, ‘Is it ok to fake an orgasm?’ An interesting subject for an afternoon TV programme! There were of course several restrictions on what could or couldn’t be said, but it didn’t seem to stop a lively conversation. It’s on my website if you fancy looking at it. Vanessa is an amazing woman with so much energy and an ability to talk about any topic that is given to her. I was invited to talk at a conference at the Tell Aviv Business school sponsored by Ocean Relocation, during the week 30th May. My subject was, of course, relationships! ‘How are individuals and families affected by moving a long way from home’. In this case we were looking at moving abroad. I had decided to run the session with participants, as a workshop, in fact before I knew we were in a lecture theatre. So having a discussion in a group is less easy. Having thought about it I decided to stick with my plan. I was the last session in the morning and the audience had already done a lot of listening. It worked well as they were all willing to go with the idea and enjoyed, as we all do, talking about ourselves and our opinions. We were wined and dined by the company and taken on a very interesting trip to Jerusalem. It was an amazing experience. I’m so pleased I was asked. I came back to run our ‘Feel Good and Look Fab’ workshop on Saturday 4th June. It was a great day and everyone learned a lot. We spent the morning looking at our inner selves and how what we think inside affects our outside. We heard about fashion Feng Shui from Sue Donnelly. She gave a very lively and informative talk looking at how our inner essence and personality influences our clothes. We’ll be running another one in September so look our for it and join us then. And I’ve recently spoken about looking after elderly parents, on Chanel 4 ‘4thought’ - more about that when I next write! It would be good to hear what you’re all up to.
