Dear Members
I hope you had a good Easter in spite of the weather!
I had a very busy run up to Easter with radio interviews - Gordon Astley programme BBC Radio Southern Counties,
Dave Barrett on BBC Radio Bristol, Alex Hall Programme on BBC Radio Tees, Richard
Latto from BBC Radio Solent, Heather Stott from BBC Radio Manchester, Karen
Buchanan from the Morning Show on BBC Radio Norfolk, Annie Othen from BBC Radio
Coventry and Warwickshire, Stuart George of the Morning Show, BBC Radio Stoke
and finally Pat Marsh at BBC Radio Kent.
Last week I spoke to Paul Stainton at BBC Northampton and
Jeni Barnet at LBC, as well as an interview with Prima magazine.
Please take a look at the website on our media page for recent
articles and interviews and information on all of these.
We have been delighted with the response we have had from you by Email and in
the booking of both Email and telephone sessions. Several people have asked if
we see people in person. We would be happy to do this if we are near enough
geographically for you to come to us. I have also been asked about the cost, as
a number of you have found it too expensive. If this is the case, please
get in touch with us and we will see if we can come to an agreement that feels
good for us both. We do not want to exclude anyone, we want to create a
supportive community for the 50+ which offers something for all.
We have had some response to our member’s forum, which is great. I hope more of
you will feel able to answer each other’s questions, you don’t need a definitive
answer but we all know more heads than one is often needed to find the
solution.
We have also added to the site a news page. I am sure you are aware
that every day there are news items pertaining to the 50 plus. In order to make
it easy for you to find this information we will post weekly relevant news
items. If you think we have missed something that would be useful please Email
us with it. Do use the forum to express your views about any topic.
We are just in the process of developing some Experience Matters workshops
based on the questions you have asked. These will be held regularly in central
London from July onwards. There will be a discount for ‘early bird’
applications so keep an eye out for these. I will let you know in the next
newsletter about these, plus some other exciting developments that are just
being finalised.
We will also be at Mind Body Spirit festival, see the website for details,
where we will be offering free 20 minute taster coaching sessions.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes
Keren
