| Dear All I hope you are well. We had a good month at Experience Matters. We were at Mind, Body, Spirit Festival for the last week of May where we met lots of interesting people, learnt about new alternative therapies and were struck at how many of us, men and women, are facing the same problems. We offered 20 minutes taster coaching sessions, which were very popular. Remember we offer coaching to any of you who think you could benefit from talking through any issues. Take a look on the website. On my way to Mind, Body Spirit on the Saturday I had a 'live' chat with Vanessa Feltz about 'ageing' - it was her topic of the day on her Radio show. Interestingly it seems to be a subject that is often raised on Radio London and other local radios. Do let me know if you hear any interesting programmes and we will download these onto the website for others to listen. We have put some new radio interviews on the site. It's not just radio that explores the issues faced by those of us in our mid/late 40's, 50's, 60's. Women's Weekly approached me after my book, 'Who's that woman in the mirror? The art of ageing gracefully' was published and have asked me to be their new 'agony aunt'. I am really excited about this and my first page will be 15th July - on sale 9th July. I also have an article in My Weekly Summer edition and have contributed to an article in Prima. These two will be on the website sometime this month. Please remember to send in your questions to the website and to go onto the members section and answer each other's questions. From my conversations with people I know you are a resourceful lot and you can really help each other. We have also added a blog page to the main section. Please feel free to join in, start a blog and add to it regularly. There are lots of active blogs for parents with young children but hardly any for our age - so get writing! We need to be heard! Lastly don't forget our workshops, which start in central London in July. These are in response to your requests. We will be adding a new one, 'Developing your own business - becoming self-employed'. This option seems to be very appealing to the 50 plus. It can be a way of combining what you enjoy doing and are good at whilst earning money. Do let us know if you have any ideas for workshops. We have just announced our winner of the members draw. She is Lesley and has chosen as her prize a workshop 'Managing Parents'. CONGRATULATIONS. Do book up! Have a good June. Keep in touch with us. Best wishes Keren | Money Workshop September 16th How to build yourself a better career 'The Retirement Show' - London 2008
